She co-founded and previously served as publisher for Apogee Journal, is a contributing editor for Literary Hub, and works as deputy editor for Phoneme Media. Zinzi resides in Los Angeles, California, with her husband. She made her authorial debut in 2017 with the novel What We Lose, which was recognized as a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 Honoree and was a finalist for multiple awards.
