Order of W.J. Burley Books

W.J. Burley was a British crime novelist renowned for his Wycliffe series, which was adapted into the ITV television show "Wycliffe," airing for five seasons. Before his writing career, Burley was employed by several gas companies, remaining in that field until the Second World War. After the war, he studied zoology at Balliol College, Oxford, where he earned an honours degree and pursued a teaching career. He served as the head of biology at various schools until his retirement.
