Order of Vanda Symon Books

Vanda Symon is a New Zealand author renowned for her crime novels, particularly the Sam Shephard series. Besides her writing career, she hosts the Write On radio show on Toroa Radio. Symon developed a love for reading early on, starting with the Berenstain Bears children's books, and has been passionate about it ever since. However, she did not immediately pursue writing. Instead, she attended the University of Otago in Dunedin to study pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist for a while before starting a family. It was during her time at home caring for her children that she decided to try her hand at writing, which ultimately led to her successful career.
