Order of Valerie Valdes Books

Valerie Valdes is an American author renowned for her Chilling Effect series. She debuted with the novel Chilling Effect in 2019, followed by its sequel, Prime Deceptions, in 2020. Valerie earned her degree in English literature from the University of Miami, where she also minored in creative writing and motion pictures. She participated in Viable Paradise, a week-long residential writing workshop focused on speculative fiction, held annually on Martha’s Vineyard. Valdes has also taught in this genre and has been a Municipal Liaison for National Novel Writing Month for more than ten years.
