Tommy Robinson

Tommy Robinson is a British far-right activist and a political adviser to the Leader of the UK Independence Party. He co-founded the English Defence League and was previously a member of the British National Party. In 2015, he released a memoir titled "Tommy Robinson: Enemy of the State." Robinson was a highly controversial figure during his time with the EDL, where he claimed the group was "against the rise of radical Islam" rather than against Islam itself, although many members were viewed as anti-Muslim. In 2011, he was convicted for threatening, abusive, or insulting behavior during a brawl involving supporters of Luton Town and Newport County, where he played a significant role in a 100-man fight. He was later arrested for attending an EDL demonstration, which violated his bail conditions, and subsequently convicted of assaulting another EDL member, leading to further charges.
