Order of Tamar Myers Books

Tamar Myers is an American author born in the Congo, known for her mystery novels. She is the creator of the Pennsylvania Dutch Mysteries, Den of Antiquity Mysteries, and Belgian Congo Mysteries. Tamar is the daughter of missionaries who worked with a headhunter tribe known for drinking from human skulls. After the Congo gained independence from Belgium, her family fled but returned shortly after. Eventually, after enduring years of civil wars, Tamar's family relocated to the United States when she was 16. Upon arrival, she was unfamiliar with using a phone, stoplights, or vending machines. Fortunately, she met her future husband on her first day of high school. Tamar Myers resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband, Jeffrey, along with several dogs and cats. She became a published author with the release of Too Many Crooks Spoil the Broth in 1993, marking the start of her Pennsylvania Dutch Mysteries series.
