By the time he completed his university education, he had held more jobs than the River Clyde has bends. After spending 25 years working abroad, he gained a renewed appreciation for his homeland. Now, he dedicates his time to researching his next novel in local pubs and restaurants. Muir is a dual citizen of the UK and the USA, dividing his time between Glasgow, Scotland, and Richmond, Virginia.
