Order of Susan Mihalic Books

Susan Mihalic is an American author who made her debut in 2021 with her first novel, Dark Horses. The book received numerous positive reviews and was featured on OprahMag.com’s list of Most Anticipated Books of 2021. It is a darkly compelling story about a teenage equestrian prodigy fighting to reclaim her life from an abusive father. Before becoming an author, Susan held various roles, including book editor, curriculum writer, writing instructor, freelance writer, editor, and teacher of therapeutic horseback riding. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and currently resides in Taos, New Mexico. Mihalic wrote her first book at the age of 59, collaborating closely with an agent to edit and refine the story until it was perfect.
