Steve Robinson is an English author known for his historical mystery and thriller novels, particularly the Jefferson Tayte series. He began writing at the age of 16 when his first magazine article was published. After realizing that a career in telecommunications was unfulfilling, he chose to pursue writing full-time. His interest in genealogy was sparked by the mystery of his grandfather, an American soldier stationed in England during World War II, who returned home after the war and left his young family behind. Steve resides just outside London, England. He became a published author in 2011 with "In the Blood," which introduced the Jefferson Tayte character.
