Steve Brewer is an American author renowned for his Bubba Mabry, Drew Gavin, and Jackie Nolan book series. Born in Arkansas, he graduated from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. Following college, he pursued a career in journalism, dedicating more than twenty years to the field. While working for the Associated Press in San Francisco, he chose to shift his focus to writing novels. He discovered that his journalism experience, particularly in editing his articles, was beneficial for novel writing.
