Order of Steve Allen Books

Steve Allen (1921-2000) was an American author, as well as a late-night talk show host, comedian, TV personality, musician, and composer, among other roles. He began his career in radio and became the first host of The Tonight Show. Allen authored a series of mystery novels featuring himself and his wife, Jayne Meadows, as amateur detectives, although these were actually ghostwritten by Walter J. Sheldon and later Robert Westbrook. Despite having written several books before publishing any novels, Steve Allen's debut novel was The Talk Show Murders, released in 1982.
