Order of Stan Jones Books

Stan Jones is an American author and native Alaskan. He was born in Alaska, and after a brief period in the American South, his family returned to Alaska. He is known for the Nathan Active series, which is set in Alaska in each installment. Jones had an intriguing life in Alaska; it started off quite ordinary, but in his late twenties, he moved to the Inupiat Eskimo village of Kotzebue. There, he operated Bush planes and drove snow machines while immersing himself in the native culture. Subsequently, he worked as a journalist in Anchorage, where he reported on the notorious Exxon Valdez oil spill. After leaving journalism, he moved to Northwest Alaska to focus on his book series.
