Scott McEwen is an American author known for his military fiction and non-fiction works. He is also a trial attorney based in San Diego, California. Raised in Eastern Oregon, Scott, an Eagle Scout, enjoyed hiking, fishing, and hunting during his youth. After completing his undergraduate studies, he moved to London, England, to pursue further education and work. His passion for military history, patriotism, and experience with firearms made him an ideal co-author for Chris Kyle’s autobiography. McEwen published his first book in 2012, titled American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, co-authored with Chris Kyle and Jim DeFelice.
