Sam Carrington is a writer of psychological thrillers, renowned for her books Bad Sister, I Dare You, and The Open House. Before starting her writing journey, she spent fifteen years working for the NHS as a qualified nurse. She obtained a degree in psychology and later worked for the prison service as an Offending Behaviour Programme Facilitator. The experiences she gained in these roles have significantly influenced her writing. Eventually, she decided to leave the service to focus on her family and pursue her aspiration of becoming an author. Sam resides in Devon with her husband, and they have three adult children.
