S.D. Tooley is an American novelist known for her paranormal mystery and fantasy novels. She is the author of the Sam Casey series and the Chase Dagger series (under the name Lee Driver). Raised near Chicago, Illinois, she currently resides in Northwest Indiana. In her teenage years, she enjoyed reading Nancy Drew books, like many young girls of her time, but later developed a passion for the works of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and James Patterson, whom she cites as significant influences. In addition to her writing career, Sandra has worked as a car salesman, sales assistant, administrative assistant, seminar coordinator, and casino dealer.
