Order of Rudie van Rensburg Books

Rudie van Rensburg is a South African author known for his crime fiction novels. He is also a talented artist, painter, and playwright. Born in Bloemfontein in 1951, he completed his education at Central High School before attending Unisa, where he earned a degree in communication science, followed by a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Free State. In the 1970s, Rudie began his career in journalism, starting at Die Volksblad. He later co-founded and became a publisher of Bloemnuus, a groundbreaking free weekly newspaper in the Free State, which, despite its eventual closure, made a significant impact on local media. Rudie then became the editor of Die Ekonoom, a well-known national business magazine, and worked with the public relations bureau at the University of the Free State, demonstrating his varied talents. In 1987, he relocated to Cape Town to join Sanlam, a leading financial services group, where he spent two decades as a senior manager in advertising, head of promotions and sponsorships, and published their customer magazine.
