Ronald H. Balson is an American author known for his historical fiction novels, particularly the Liam Taggart and Catherine Lockhart series. In addition to his writing career, Ron is a practicing attorney at Stone, Pogrund & Korey in Chicago, where he has worked for over 40 years. His legal career has taken him to courts throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as to various European and Asian countries for deposition testimony. His involvement in a commercial dispute related to a telephone service in Poland led to multiple trips to Warsaw, which inspired his debut novel, Once We Were Brothers. His passion for history and travels to the Middle East also influenced his second novel, Saving Sophie. Balson published his first novel, Once We Were Brothers, in 2009. Below is a list of Ronald H.
