Order of Robert Littell Books

Robert Littell is an American spy fiction author born in Brooklyn. He graduated from Alfred University in 1956 and served four years in the U.S. Navy before becoming a journalist for Newsweek during the Cold War. In his free time, he enjoys amateur mountain climbing. His son, Jonathan, is also a writer, and Littell resides in France. He published his first novel, the alternate history If Israel Lost the War, in 1969, co-written with Richard Z. Chesnoff and Edward Klein. His next work was a picture book titled Left and Right with Lion and Ryan, released in 1970. His debut solo novel, The Defection of A.J. Lewinter, came out in 1973 and won the British Crime Writers’ Association’s Gold Dagger Award. Below is a list of Robert Littell’s books in the order of their publication.
