Order of Richard Castle Books

Richard Castle is a fictional character played by Nathan Fillion in the ABC television series Castle. Although he is not real, Castle is depicted as an author of actual mystery novels and several short stories. In his free time, he enjoys playing poker with James Patterson, Michael Connelly, and Dennis Lehane. While we lack publication dates for Castle's fictional works (which, to clarify, do not exist in reality), we know that the character became a published author in 2009 with the release of Heat Wave, featuring Nikki Heat, who is inspired by the fictional NYPD detective Kate Beckett.
