Richard Bard had a remarkable journey before becoming the author of the acclaimed Brainrush series. In his youth, he served as a pilot in the Air Force until a cancer diagnosis left him with just months to live. Fortunately, he overcame that challenge and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in management. He then applied his education to lead companies that developed high-security products for the US government.
