Order of Rebecca Kauffman Books

Rebecca Kauffman is an author best known for her works The Gunners, Another Place You’ve Never Been, and The House on Fripp Island. Another Place You’ve Never Been was a finalist for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize. The themes in Another Place You’ve Never Been are significantly influenced by Ojibwa culture, particularly the Native American concept of “Two-Spirit,” which refers to individuals who embody both male and female traits or identify as a different gender altogether. Before pursuing a writing career, Kauffman worked as a teacher and in the restaurant industry. She currently resides in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where she continues to write.
