R.S. Guthrie is an American author known for his mystery and thriller novels. He is the creator of the Detective Bobby Mac series and the James Pruett series. Guthrie has been writing since his college days, producing short stories, unfinished novels, and even a story in 140 characters or fewer. He has also penned song lyrics, although he no longer plays instruments and acknowledges that his singing isn't the best. He resides in Colorado with several dogs.
