Pierce Brown is an American author known for his young adult fantasy novels, particularly the Red Rising Trilogy. He spent his childhood constructing forts and setting traps for his cousins. After completing college, Pierce intended to attend Hogwarts like Harry Potter, but instead pursued a writing career while working as a social media manager at a tech company, on the Disney lot, as an NBC page, and as an aide on a U.S. Senate campaign. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Pierce Brown published his first novel, Red Rising, in 2014, launching the Red Rising Trilogy.
