Order of Philippa East Books

Philippa East is a Scottish author who made her debut in 2020 with the novel Little White Lies. The book received significant acclaim upon its release, with reviews describing it as a “heart-thumping” thriller and “unputdownable.” East was raised in Scotland before attending Oxford University, where she studied Psychology and Philosophy. She later moved to London to train as a Clinical Psychologist, spending time with the NHS before opting to work part-time to dedicate more time to her writing. This decision led to her first book, Little White Lies, which was longlisted for both The Guardian’s Not The Booker Prize and the CWA “New Blood” Award in 2020. East now resides in Lincolnshire, where she continues her work as a psychologist and therapist.
