Order of Peggy Blair Books

Peggy Blair is a Canadian author and lawyer known for her Inspector Ramirez series, which started with The Beggar’s Opera. A member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1990, she gained recognition as lead counsel in the landmark R. v. Jones and Nadjiwon case, the first in Canada to affirm Aboriginal and treaty rights to fish commercially ahead of other users. Blair earned her Master's and doctorate in law from the University of Ottawa. In 2010, she transitioned from law to pursue a career as a realtor and author.
