Pauline Gedge is a Canadian author known for her works in historical fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Originally from New Zealand, she lived in England for several years before her family moved to Canada. She studied at the University of Manitoba and attended teachers' college in New Zealand. After years of writing poetry that remained unpublished, Pauline ventured into fiction, focusing on ancient Egypt, which led to her debut novel, Child of the Morning. She has two sons, Simon and Roger. Gedge became a published author in 1977 with Child of the Morning. Below is a list of her books in the order of their original release:
