Order of Paula McLain Books

Paula McLain is an American author renowned for her bestselling novels, including The Paris Wife, Circling the Sun, Love and Ruin, and When the Stars Go Dark. Born in Fresno, California, McLain faced a challenging childhood after being abandoned by her parents, leading her and her sister to become wards of the state and live in various foster homes. After aging out of the system, she supported herself through different jobs until she discovered her passion for writing. She later attended the University of Michigan, where she earned her MFA in poetry in 1996. Her debut novel, A Ticket to Ride, was published in 2008.
