Order of Patrice Caldwell Books

Patrice Caldwell is an American book editor and literary agent. Born and raised in Texas, she later attended Wesleyan College, where she graduated before embarking on a diverse career, including editing the anthology A Phoenix Must Burn, which showcases 16 stories centered on Black Girl Magic, Resistance, and Hope. Caldwell is also the founder and fundraising chair of People of Color in Publishing, a grassroots organization aimed at supporting, empowering, and uplifting racially and ethnically marginalized individuals in the book publishing industry. Before becoming a literary agent at Howard Morhaim Literary Agency, she worked as a children’s book editor. In addition to A Phoenix Must Burn, she has edited the anthologies Eternally Yours and That Way Lies Madness.
