Order of Pat Conroy Books

Pat Conroy (1945-2016) was an American writer known for his literary fiction and non-fiction. His novels, The Prince of Tides and The Great Santini, were turned into Academy Award-nominated films. Drawing from his own life experiences, including his upbringing as a military brat and his relationship with an abusive, domineering father, Conroy's fiction often reflects these themes. Although The Great Santini was a work of fiction, it was authentic enough to create significant tension within his family, yet it ultimately contributed to mending his relationship with his father. Conroy published his first novel, The Boo, in 1970. Below is a list of his books in the order of their original publication.
