Nancy J. Parra, who also writes as Nancy Coco, lives in the Midwest with her husband, two children, and a mixed breed dog named George Bernard, who has grown to unexpected size. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas, but after discovering that interviewing the characters in her imagination was more enjoyable, she transitioned to writing fiction. Nancy has published over 19 novels, including three mystery series: The Gluten-free Baker’s Treat Mysteries (Berkley Prime Crime), The Candy Coated Mysteries (Kensington), and The Perfect Proposal Mysteries (Berkley Prime Crime). Reviewers worldwide have praised her writing as witty and her protagonists as plucky.
