Mons Kallentoft is a Swedish author known for his Scandinavian crime fiction novels, particularly the Malin Fors series. He grew up in Ljungsbro, Sweden, and is also a journalist. Currently, Mons resides in Stockholm, Sweden. He became a published author in 2000 with his standalone Swedish-language novel, Pesetas. His first English-published novel was Midvinterblod, originally released in Swedish in 2007. It was translated into English and published in the UK in 2011 as Midwinter Sacrifice, and in 2012, it was released in the United States as Midwinter Blood.
