Order of Miranda James Books

Miranda James is the most recognized pen name of American author Dean James, known for his cozy mystery novels. In addition to his pseudonym and real name, he has also written under the names Jimmie Ruth Evans and Honor Hartman. His notable series include the Cat in the Stacks Mysteries, Trailer Park Mysteries, and Simon Kirby-Jones Mysteries. James began writing at the age of 12, inspired by Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden, and penned a mystery novel titled The Mystery of the Willow Key. He has also authored several non-fiction works. Dean James became a published author in 1994 with the non-fiction book By a Woman’s Hand, co-written with Jean Swanson, which won an Agatha Award for Best Mystery Non-Fiction. His first mystery novel, Cruel as the Grave, was published in 2000 under his real name.
