Order of Michael Russell Books

Michael Russell is an English writer renowned for the Stefan Gillespie book series, which commenced in 2012 with the publication of The City of Shadows. He was born in England to a family of English and Irish descent. Some of the earliest stories he encountered were from his grandmother, who recounted tales of murder, chaos, and civil war. Before pursuing a career as an author, Russell studied Old English, Old Irish, and Middle Welsh at Oxford. He subsequently worked as a farm laborer before turning to writing.
