Michael Genelin is an American author known for his crime fiction novels, particularly the Commander Jana Matinova series. In addition to his writing career, he is a lawyer and an international consultant specializing in government reform. He holds degrees from UCLA and UCLA Law School and has experience working in the LA District Attorney’s Office and the US Department of Justice in Central Europe. Beyond novels, Michael has also written for film and served as an adviser for television series. He is married and has a daughter. Michael made his debut as a published novelist in 2008 with "Siren of the Waters," which features Commander Jana Matinova.
