Order of Michael Dobbs Books

Michael Dobbs is an English author known for his political thriller novels, particularly the House of Cards series, which inspired the Netflix adaptation of the same name. After growing up in England, he spent much of his early adulthood in the United States, where he obtained his M.A., M.A.L.D., and Ph.D. in nuclear defense studies. Upon returning to England, he worked as an advisor to Margaret Thatcher, then Leader of the Opposition, for two years before becoming a speechwriter. He earned a reputation for his political acumen and was dubbed “Westminster’s baby-faced hitman.” Dobbs also served as Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party during the John Major government before retiring from politics.
