Order of Mel Starr Books

Mel Starr is an American writer renowned for his series, the Hugh de Singleton, Surgeon Chronicles. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he spent the majority of his life. Starr attended Greenville College in Illinois and later obtained his MA in history from Western Michigan University. He taught history in Michigan public schools for thirty-nine years before retiring in 2003. In 2008, he published his debut novel, The Unquiet Bones, and has continued to release novels since then.
