Marlon James

Marlon James is a Jamaican author renowned for his novel The Book of Night Women, which was a finalist for the 2010 National Book Critics Circle Award in fiction and a NAACP Image Award. He is also the creator of The Dark Star Trilogy. James graduated from the University of the West Indies with a degree in Language and Literature and later attended Wilkes University in 2006, where he earned a Master's in creative writing. In addition to his novels, he has contributed nonfiction and short stories to publications such as Esquire, Granta, and The Caribbean Review of Books.
