Order of Mark Pryor Books

Mark Pryor is a crime fiction writer renowned for his Hugo Marston series. Born in Hertfordshire, England, he spent much of his early life in the UK before relocating to the United States in 1994. He now resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife and young children. In his early career, Pryor held various jobs, including ski instructor and personal trainer. He later became a newspaper reporter in Essex, where he covered the crime beat for nearly two years. Afterward, he moved to North Carolina to attend journalism school at the University of North Carolina, followed by law school at Duke. He utilizes his law degree as an Assistant District Attorney when he is not writing.
