Mark Hodder is a British author known for his science fiction, fantasy, and horror novels, particularly the Burton & Swinburne Adventures series. A former BBC journalist and web producer, he has experience across various media platforms, both traditional and modern. Mark holds a degree in cultural studies and has a passion for British history, especially from 1850 to 1950, as well as good food, innovative gadgets, cult television, Tom Waits, and other eclectic interests. After spending most of his career in London, he now lives in Valencia, Spain, where he enjoys writing novels free from the pressures of city life. He made his debut as a published novelist in 2010 with The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack, which launched the Burton & Swinburne series.
