Order of Mario Giordano Books

Mario Giordano is a German writer renowned for the Auntie Poldi book series, which started in 2015 with the publication of Auntie Poldi and the Sicilian Lions. Following his parents' divorce, he discovered a passion for reading at a young age, finding comfort in the library where he would borrow as many books as he could read. This early love for literature ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in writing. Besides being an author, Giordano has also worked as a screenwriter; his book Black Box was turned into a film, earning him the Bavarian Film Award for Best Screenplay.
