Order of Maj Sjowall Books

Maj Sjowall was a Swedish crime fiction author best known for her collaborations with her late partner Per Wahloo. Their novels featured Swedish police detective Martin Beck, with "The Laughing Policeman" winning an Edgar Award for Best Novel and being adapted into a film starring Walter Matthau. In addition to her work as a novelist, Maj was also a translator. She made her authorial debut in 1965 with "Roseanna," which launched the Martin Beck series co-written with Wahloo. Her last published novel was "The Terrorists" in 1976, also co-authored with Wahloo. Maj Sjowall passed away on April 29, 2020. Below is a list of her books in the order of their original release:
