Maggie Stiefvater is an American author known for her young adult fantasy novels, including the Wolves of Mercy Falls series. She earned her B.A. in History from Mary Washington College. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Stiefvater worked as a portrait artist. She creates her own book trailers using both stop-motion and traditional animation techniques. Additionally, Maggie is skilled in playing various musical instruments and competed in bagpipe playing during her college years.
