Maggie McConnon is the pseudonym of American author Maggie Barbieri, known for her cozy mystery novels. Raised in New York amidst Irish culture, Maggie comes from a family of Irish musicians who continue to perform at family events, and she was also an Irish stepdancer. She draws inspiration for her Belfast McGrath series from the stories her grandparents shared about their homeland. Maggie McConnon launched this pen name and the Belfast McGrath series in 2016 with the release of the novel Wedding Bel Blues.
