Order of Madeline Miller Books

Madeline Miller is an American author renowned for her historical fiction, particularly her books Circe and The Song of Achilles. Born in Boston, she spent her childhood in the northeastern cities of New York and Philadelphia. She attended Brown University, where she received both her BA and MA in Classics. Following her graduation, Miller worked as a teacher, tutoring high school students in Latin, Greek, and Shakespeare. She also studied at the Yale School of Drama, concentrating on adapting classical texts into contemporary formats. The Song of Achilles marks her debut novel.
