Order of Leonardo Padura Books

Leonardo Padura is a Cuban novelist and journalist renowned for his Mario Conde detective novel series. In 2012, he received the National Prize for Literature from his home country. He was also honored with the Premio Príncipe de Asturias de las Letras in Spain, a prestigious literary award in the Spanish-speaking world, often regarded as equivalent to the Nobel Prize. Padura holds a degree in Latin American literature from the University of Havana. Following his studies, he worked as an investigative journalist for the magazine Caimán Barbudo. Besides his writing and journalism, Padura has also penned screenplays.
