Leigh Hearon is an American author known for her cozy mystery novels, particularly the Carson Stables Mysteries series. She was raised in Camas, Washington, where her mother created treasure hunts for her, which sparked her interest in mysteries. This passion led her to establish her own private investigation agency and pursue a career as a mystery writer. In the meantime, she took on various writing roles, from speechwriter to advertising copywriter, including a position at Microsoft where she wrote about Excel and Flight Simulator.
