Order of Laurie Cass Books

Laurie Cass is an American author known for her cozy mystery novels, particularly the Beth Kennedy and the Bookmobile Cat Mysteries series. Growing up in Michigan, she spent her childhood picking berries at age 12, which made sitting in a classroom reading Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden seem appealing. Eventually, she discovered other authors such as Dick Francis, Josephine Tey, Ellis Peters, and John D. MacDonald. After a career in management, Laurie sought a less demanding job but found herself bored, prompting her to start writing in her spare time. She resides in Northern Lower Michigan with her husband and their cat. In addition to writing, Laurie has a day job, enjoys reading, gardening, skiing, playing the piano and violin, and exploring photography. She made her debut as a published author in 2010 with the novel Murder at the PTA (under the name Laura Alden) and later published her first book as Laurie Cass in 2013, titled Lending a Paw.
