Order of Laurence Shames Books

Laurence Shames is an American author known for his humorous mystery novels and non-fiction works. He is the creator of the Key West Mysteries series. Before becoming a full-time writer in 1976, Laurence held various jobs, including NYC cab driver, lounge singer, furniture mover, lifeguard, dishwasher, gym teacher, and shoe salesman. Despite these earlier career attempts, he has since appeared on four different New York Times Bestseller lists, using various pen names that were not his own. Although he has been writing since 1976, his first published book under his own name was a non-fiction work titled The Big Time: The Harvard Business School’s Most Successful Class & How it Shaped America.
