Lauren Weisberger is an American author known for her women’s fiction novels, including the Prada series, and she is a New York Times bestselling author. Raised in Pennsylvania, she was actively involved in various high school activities to enhance her college applications. She graduated from Cornell University with a BA in English. After college, she traveled across Europe and Asia before landing a job in Manhattan as the Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue. She later worked at Departures while attending writing classes in the evenings. Weisberger made her novel debut in 2003 with The Devil Wears Prada, which remained on the New York Times Bestseller List for six months and was adapted into a film starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
