Order of Kiley Reid Books

Kiley Reid is an American author based in Philadelphia who gained recognition with her debut novel, Such a Fun Age. According to Reid, the book examines “class dynamics in tiny microcultures,” specifically within the context of babysitting. Set in Philadelphia, where Reid resides, the novel quickly generated significant buzz and has had its film and television rights acquired by Lena Waithe, the writer and producer of Queen & Slim. Kiley is drawn to writing about moments when etiquette and class break down, forcing people to confront one another. These revealing instances inspire her to comment on social media, sexual consent, class, and race. Reid holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
